Kretzschmar 17,5mm projector rond 1905

This film projector comes from an English auction and was "hidden" in a larger lot of antiques. The projector looked familiar to me and after some research, I found a similar type on the website of the Deutsches Technik Museum: http://www.sdtb.de/index.php?id=380&igdetail=6 # bild

According to this website this is a Kretzschmar Heimkinematograph projector.

The projector is designed for 17,5 mm film with center perforation. The film that is used is identical to the Biokam film which was introduced in 1899.

The Kretzschmar (Kretzschmar Kinematograph) and Ernemann (Kino) 17,5mm system were introduced almost simultaneously on the German market around 1902. Although it seems that the Kinematograph of Kretzschmar was slightly  earlier. Both Ernemann and Kretzschmar were located in Dresden. It is not clear what the relation between the two manufacturers was, but the two systems look very similar. Both were a compact and complete system (camera and projector in one).

Beside the model of the German Museum of Technology and this model, I can not find information on this projector. My projector, unlike the model of the German Museum of Technology got an extra gear for film transport above the lens, which is driven drill a chain driven. This projector uses for a Maltese cross (9-arms) for the transport of the film.
